With more than 20 years as specialists in IT products and training for the educational sector of the dyslexia market, it is perhaps no surprise that we have increasingly had requests from employers to bring our expertise to the workplace.
Here at iansyst Ltd, we have always believed that disabled individuals should have access to technology that will allow them to work on a level playing field with their colleagues. This conviction is now supported by legislation, and we have put in place a specialist team to help businesses make the reasonable adjustments necessary to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.
Complying with any new legislation can be very demanding, especially in the busy world of commerce and public services. Our consultants will take employers through the various stages, from workplace assessments and assistive technology recommendations through to disability-awareness training and seminars for HR professionals.
While historically our specialisation has been dyslexia, our consultants can also advise on other disabilities. And behind that team there is a broad base of full-time staff in England and Scotland, including a dedicated team of trainers who can deliver training courses on-site across mainland UK.
